The Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Program Provides Supper Meals To Students In After School Care Programs.
Fresh Start Meals Is Proud To Provide Nutritious Supper Meals Compliant With The CACFP Guidelines For Reimbursement.
- Supper meals are essential in helping students focus on after school enrichment programs.
- Meals can be served at any time after school dismissal.
- Fresh Start’s supper meals include a healthy sandwich, fruit or juice, vegetables and low-fat milk.
PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY & IMPLEMENTATION
Schools are eligible to participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program if at least half of the students in the school attendance area qualify for free and reduced price school meals.
Snack and supper meals may be served at different times on the same day. Supper meals are delivered daily and are pre-packed for easy serving.
Schools may apply for supper by individual site and can manage the program through the Child Nutrition Information and Payment System (CNIPS) account.
